Traditional Owners
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) People as the Traditional Owners of the land on which Woolooga Solar Farm sits. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
The Woolooga Solar Farm stands on the traditional lands of the Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) people, who hold deep, ongoing cultural, spiritual and historical connections to this Country. We acknowledge the Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the solar farm is located, and we pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Aula Energy is committed to building longterm, collaborative relationships with Traditional Owners across all our assets and projects, and looks forward to strengthening the project’s engagement with the Kabi Kabi (Gubbi Gubbi) people through the project’s established Cultural Heritage Management Agreement.
